Box lid. Broken lid of a Rowntrees Imperial Chocolate box containing a variety of incomplete games and game pieces: including a wooden box of counters, tiddlywinks, draughts and dominos; an inkwell; a packet of playing cards in a red cardboard box; a packet of playing cards in a blue cardboard box; picture cards and a broken part of lid formerly listed separately as Misc/1409 (i).
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
