Summary
Inhaler box. A rectangular cardboard box with a close-fitting lid with a label marked 'THE SIMPLEX CHLORIDE OF AMMONIUM INHALER' and containing the wooden mouth- piece and wooden handle of an inhaler 'invented by GODFREY and COOKE' (metal part missing) and instructions for the above.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
