Summary

Toy coverlet. A dolls' bedspread from the four poster bed belonging to the dolls' house. It is hand sewn using two pieces of heavy white cotton woven marsaille quilt; one with a small regular diaper pattern with a border of larger diamonds and zigzags, the other being another border section sewn to the other diaper part. There is a selvage at the top and the bottom and a handsewn hem at each side. The sides of the bedspread are folded under to make it smaller.
