Summary

Miniature fireplace. A pressed tin fireplace and surround from the dolls' house. It has fluted pilasters at each side with scrolling decoration along the top of the surround. It has a concave fireback with a slope up to the 'chimney', the back section being formed from a separate piece of curved tin, soldered on to the front. The front of the fire basket has two bars above a brass-coloured base with a plait design. There is also a curved 'brass' fender with a top row of circle decoration.
