Summary
Miniature picture. A miniature print from the dolls' house. The print is a coloured image of the Crystal Palace, showing an oblique view of the building with flags flying. there is a fenced off roadway in the middle distance with pedestrians, carriages and horses and riders, with more figures walking in the foreground, including men, women with parasols, children and a dog. There are trees on the right. Under the image is a caption reading in capital letters, 'VIEW OF THE BULDING FOR THE GREAT INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION IN 18 […]'. The deep frame is wood faced with a gold coloured border at the inner and outer edges, ornate gold paper corners and mirrored glass sides. There is a metal loop on the top of the frame to hang it and the backing is thin wood.
