Summary
Carpet. An embroidered carpet from the Drawing Room of the dolls' house. The fabric is undyed linen canvas, which has been embroidered in wool dyed dark red, three shades of coral pink, three shades of pink, yellow, orange, three shades of green and also ivory silk in cross stitch. The main field design is floral within a geometric border and the structure has been edged on two sides with pink silk ribbon and two sides have been whipped. There is a fragment of fringe. Made by Victoria Yorke in 1851/2.
