The embroidery has been worked through all three layers using floss silk dyed cream, yellow, shades of pink, blue, green and red, the stitching used being French knots, satin and stem stitch as well as couching and laid work, also using metal on silk core thread, metal plate strip and sequins. The design of the main field is of four cornucopias of flowers around a central floral motif as well as a border of flowers on all four sides.
