Summary
A crucifix. A plain pitch pine cross made by William Gittens circa 1898. It has a limewood carving of the crucified Christ, detached, inscribed 'S.Y. 1829'.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
