Summary
A metal weight. A circular metal weight with a raised rim on the upper surface and an indentation slot from the rim to the centre to allow fixing to the weighing machine. It is marked Eight STONE and there is a rectangular cut-out on the reverse.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
