Summary

A metal weight. A circular metal weight with a raised rim on the upper surface and a slot from the rim to the centre to allow fixing to the weighing machine. It is marked 2CWT and has a circular indentation on the reverse.

Provenance

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
