Summary
Photograph. An original daguerreotype showing Simon Yorke III (1811-1894) in the uniform of the Denbighshire Rifles (Royal Regiment of Militia). It is housed behind a gilt arched frame within a rectangular embossed maroon leather case with a patterned, red velvet interior.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
