Summary
A display case, English or Welsh, late 19th/early 20th century. With a glazed front in a wooden frame, with scalloped sight, and pierced with stalked flowers. Retaining the remains of butterflies and dried flowers. Display case. A butterfly display case with the remains of a butterfly display. The case is pierced with a floral decoration and the butterflies are mounted with ferns and dried hellicrysum.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
