Summary
Buttons. Thirty two gilt buttons contained in a cylindrical tin with lid; with a printed label bearing Chinese characters and a picture of a train. Buttons of two designs, obverse stamped 'Firmin and Sons, Strand, London.' Ten buttons with 'cross foxes' of the Williams-Wynne Hunt.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
