Summary
Pen case. A wooden pen case covered in red/black simulated leather and with a brass plated trim. The lid has a brass panel engraved 'PRESENTED TO / PHILIP YORKE ESQ. TO COMMEMORATE THE REOPENING OF ESCLUSHAM CHURCH SUNDAY SCHOOL 27-9-75'. The interior has a red fabric lining printed 'SHEAFFER'.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
