Summary
Presentation beaker. One of a pair of horn presentation beakers, with silver rims and shield shaped mounts with the Yorke crest and inscribed By Marchweal Tenantry This cup was presented to Simon Yorke, Junr Esqr of Erthig on his attaining his majority as a small tribute of sincere respect to commemorate the happy event 1832.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
