Summary
A sword. A naval officer's sword, with a straight blade, a lions head pommel and a pierced gilt brass guard. The grip is covered with shagreen and the blade has an incised scroll decoration and the Royal Coat of Arms.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
