Commemorative medal - A medal struck during the General Strike of 1926 and presented to 'P.S. Yorke for driving a train out. L.M.S. Railway'. The medal is kept in a leather case with cream silk and velvet lining

Provenance

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
