Summary
Metal ceiling part. One of two sections of a white-painted, pressed steel 'Steleonite' ceiling decorative pressed metal ceiling. Made by the British Stamped Metal Ceiling Co. Used as a fire preventive measure in Chinese Room c.1907.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
