Summary
Skating boot. a pair of brown leather ladies' skating boots with brown laces (one missing) and steel ice skate blades screwed to the heel and sole. The boot is marked 'MADE IN ENGLAND by Manfield & Sons Ltd. NORTHAMPTON'. The blade is marked 'EMPIRE JOHN WILSON SHEFFIELD'.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
