Summary
Coffee mill. A small coffee mill by J and J Whitehouse, Tipton. It has a square iron base with a drawer and an iron crank working in the horizontal plane within a brass hopper and having a wooden knob at the end. There are two lugs on the base for screwing down. Formerly carried a numbered tag '233'.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
