Summary
Bracket clock - A French Ormolu bracket clock by Rieussec, the pylon-shaped' case surmounted by a sphere, surmounted by a sphere decorated with stones and mounted on four sphinxes; the sides decorated with Egyptian figures cast in relief. Dial and movement signed 'Rieussec HGer du Roy'.
Provenance
Acquired by Phillip Yorke IV from Yorke-Lodge family. Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
