Summary
An ash or elm and painted pine low dresser, Welsh or English, early to mid-19th century. The thick boarded ash (or elm) top above a base of four pine and sycamore drawers, with painted fronts and brass handles. And with shaped aprons. Raised on extended stile supports joined by end stretchers.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
