Summary
A pine, elm and ash work bench, Welsh, made on site at Erddig, last half of the 19th/first half of the 20th century, one of a set of four in the Joiners' Shop. Made of boards, and raised on rectangular-section supports. Fitted with an iron and steel vice with wooden handle.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
