Summary
A stained pine mural or wall shelf, probably estate-made at Erddig, mid- to late 19th century. One of a set of eight. NT 1147518.1 and .2 upright and made for a corner, and fitted with five shaped shelves; NT 1147518.3 - .8 horizontal, and fitted with a single shelf, and of different dimensions. Fitted over doors. This example topped by a shelf on three shaped brackets against a backboard with a scalloped bottom edge.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
