Summary
A stained timber towel rail or airer, English, mid- to late 19th century. Of three ring-turned rails between ring-turned columnar end supports topped by ball finials, and on a small platform support with small pear feet.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
