Summary
A painted softwood towel airer or rail, English, early to mid-20th century. Of two simple chamfered rails, the end supports topped by chamfered pyramids, and on simple bars and turned ball feet.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
