Summary
A lacquered bamboo Canterbury, English, late 19th century. The lacquer simulating turtleshell, and with a central, higher division. On outswept feet joined by a raffia-lined softwood shelf. The uprights topped by sheet metal discs.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
