A folding beech chair, English, circa 1920, by Stakmore Chairs. With two simple splats and a horseshoe-shaped seat with raised lip. The rear support of metal. Marked 'Stakmore Chairs Patent No.211626 Made in England'.

Provenance

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
