Summary
An oak chair, English, early 20th century. With simple toprail and single rectangular-section horizontal splat. The seat of woven sea-grass and on tapering square-section front legs, joined by a single stretcher. With pairs of side stretchers. The sea-grass seat replacing a cane seat.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
