Summary
A sycamore, ash, beech and painted stool, English or Welsh, mid-19th century. Having a sycamore block seat with cut corners and raised on splayed ash legs wedged through the seat and facetted. One leg replaced with beech.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
