Summary
A pitch pine coffer, or trunk, English, late 19th/early 20th century. With hinged lid, and of dovetailed construction, the corners reinforced with later metal straps. With a skirting plinth base.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
