Summary
Canopy. Part of an early 19th C. fourposter bed, cut down to fit under eaves with turned columns and linen canopy with small printed pattern. Canopy of undyed plain weave cotton calico with a valance of bleached plain weave linen printed in red with a flower sprig design. It is hand and machine sewn.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
