Summary
An upholstered daybed, English, late 19th/early 20th century. With one sloping end and partial low back. The seat hinged and enclosing a compartment. Raised on turned oak legs fitted with brass and ceramic castors. Covered in a printed linen plain weave with a pattern of vertical sprays of flowers.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
