Summary
Tobacco cabinet tray. A tray for an oak rectangular tobacco cabinet, the top dividing into two hinged flaps each with match strikers and a sliding panel revealing compartments, one with a metal plate inscribed with removable tray and grey metal decorative escutcheons. Inscribed on plate is 'Rd. No. 52966/1297 John Bagshaw and Son Liverpool'.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
