Summary
A carved walnut hall bench, English, late 19th century. The rails all moulded and line-moulded, and the back fitted with three panels carved with sunflowers, and above shaped spandrels. The seat boarded and raised on a pair of collared, beaded and tapering square-section front legs, and outswept rear legs.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
