Summary
A mahogany-framed and cane-work cot, English, early 19th century. With caned sides, the headboard solid and arched. The uprights topped by flat turned finials, and extending to ring-turned and tapering legs fitted with brass caps and castors.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
