Summary
An open bookcase, probably made at Erddig, circa 1900, painted black and parcel-gilt. Of four open shelves, each with a gilt-tooled leather scalloped trim tacked to its edge. All between boarded ends fronted by balusters with parcel-gilt ring turnings.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
