Summary
A mahogany towel rail or airer, English, mid- to late 19th century. Of five rails, the uppermost on a pair of short ball-topped supports. The end supports with divergent tops, ring-turned and with collars where the rails meet. On divergent scrolling legs.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
