Summary
One of twelve textile fragments from the hangings of angel bed. Fragment of blue worsted and cream silk braid, with worsted warp and weft of pale turquoise and cream silk and pale turquoise supplementary warp brocading and a herringbone design between the cream borders. The turquoise silk has completely disappeared except inside the mitre. It has two cut ends.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
