Summary
A holly-inlaid walnut music cabinet, English, late 19th century. The top fitted with a gallery of brass rods and above a banded drawer with brass handles and a glazed door backed with pleated silk and enclosing three velvet-lined and leather-fronted shelves, labeled 'DANCE', 'SONGS' and 'GENL MUSIC', and with a pair of upright partitions. All between canted front corners headed by stylised leaf-carved corbels. On a plinth base.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
