Summary
A limed oak coronation stool, by Waring & Gillow, circa 1937. With bowed seat upholstered in green velvet edged with gold braid. The limed oak legs chamfered and square-section, and terminating in block feet.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
