Summary
A walnut and inlaid pedestal occasional table, North Italian, mid-19th century. The circular tilt-top inlaid with a sunburst design, above a plain frieze. Raised on a multiple-knopped broadening shaft with bulbous ring turning, and raised on a base of three downswept scrolling legs, carved with rocaille frills and foliage.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
