Summary
Casket. A scarlet boulle casket of rectangular form, inlaid with brass and tortoiseshell in scrolling designs, the slightly domed lid and base edged with cast brass beading, on chased gilt-metal feet.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
