Portrait miniature, watercolour on photograph (?) of Louisa Matilda Scott, Mrs Philip Yorke II (1863-1951), British (English) School. Half-length portrait of a mature woman, turned slightly to the left, gazing at the spectator, with brown hair dressed high with jewels, wearing a mauve dress and black fur stole, long pearl necklace and drop pearl earrings.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
