Summary
Sauce tureen. One of three sauce tureens, covers and stands and a single stand from a large Coalport (?) porcelain dinner service, 'Indian Tree' design. The transfer printed design of magnolia and peonies is overpainted. Further peony sprays and a honeycomb border are used on all pieces.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
