Summary
Coffee cup. The coffee cup is part of a twenty-four piece, Davenport, porcelain part tea service, made in the mid 19th Century, and painted with flower sprays in pink and gold. The part tea service comprises two teacups, four coffee cups and eighteen saucers. This cup has a label attached to the base with the inscription 'Cup used by HM Queen Mary, Aug.16, 1921'.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
