Summary
Teacup. The teacup is part of a twenty-four-piece, Davenport, porcelain part tea service, made in the mid 19th Century, and painted with flower sprays in pink and gold. The part tea service comprises two teacups, four coffee cups and eighteen saucers. There is a label attached to the base of one of the coffee cups (item 6) with the inscription 'Cup used by HM Queen Mary, Aug.16th 1921'.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
