Summary
Tureen stand - Part of a Spode porcelain ornithological dessert service, the centre painted in colours with named specimens of British birds. Thirty-eight pieces in total. One of two oval tureen stands painted with a Red Headed Merganser and a Yellow Hammer.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
