Summary
Carved stone relief plaque with plinth beneath and marble support which rests on a curved pendant base, Saint Christopher, English School, Renaissance style. The saint is bearing the Christ child on his shoulders. His standing in a block of curved lines which represents water. The legend of Saint Christopher, patron saint of travellers, originates from The Golden Legend of the 13th century. His feast day is the West is 25th July.
