Summary
A wooden miniature model of an animal roughly hewn out of a piece of wood and painted white. The animal rendered with just hind legs, with ears cut from a fan of wooden splints, with black and red details inked on. With legs fixed to a rectangular wooden base and hinged at their top joint to allow the animal's body to swing between two positions. The opposing end of the wooden base mounted with a yellow painted piece of wooden dowel.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Ernö Goldfinger (1902-1987) and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, Mrs Ernö Goldfinger (d.1991), formally acquired in 1994.
